     the Ten Commandments 

Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. “This is the first and great commandment. “And the second is like, unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself” (Matthew 22:37–39).

Jesus said, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. ..
  from the Book of Leviticus in the Old Testament about the ethic of reciprocity known as the Golden Rule or the Great Commandment. ,



Here are 5 simple ways to show God's love to others:
  1. Show God's Love by Listening.
  2. Show God's Love with Generosity.
  3. Show God's Love by Encouraging.
  4. Show God's Love with Acts of Kindness.
  5. Show God's Love by Praying for Others.
  6. It's Possible to Show God's Love to Everyone.


The 10 Commandments
  • 1.You shall have no other God's before me.
  • 2.Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven images. ...
  • 3.Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain. ...
  • 4.Remember the Sabbath day and keep it Holy. ...
  • 5.Honor your father and mother. ...
  • 6.Thou shalt not kill. ...
  • 7.Thou shalt not commit adultery. ...
  • 8. Thou shalt not steal.
  • 9. Thou shall not bear false witness. 
  • 10. You shall not covet. 
  • Let us end with this promise from God in Proverb 3: 1-4 “My sons and daughters, do not forget my teaching but keep my commands in your heart, for they will prolong your life many years and bring you prosperity. Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. Then you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man.”   

None of us are perfect but we must continually seek to obey these commandments. Jesus came that these laws could be fulfilled as we walk and trust in Him.

Jesus said, “I have come that they might have life and have it more abundantly.” John 10:10.
