Odd to the Fairy- (E -magazines ) Poem

Odd to the Fairy

A Sonnet by Nissi, Nikki Smitty

My clear fairy, you inspire me to write.
I hate the way you frighten, look and bounce,
Invading my mind day and through the night,
Always dreaming about the joyful pounce.

Let me compare you to a nonmember?
You are more hungry, playful and awful.
Sheer frost nips the robins of December,
And wintertime has the lawful blastoff.

How do I hate you? Let me count the ways.
I hate your waffle ankle, legs and toe.
Thinking of your would legs fills my days.
My hate for you is the mean calico.

Now I must away with a happy heart,
Remember my light words whilst we're apart.
