FASA ''The financial aid

The  financial aid  that a student receives from submitting the  FAFSA  is supposed to be money that pays for their full cost of  college , also known as the “cost of attendance.” This cost doesn't just apply to the tuition and fee expenses of the student. ... They are going to want you to  pay  for some of those expenses as well. How does the financial aid work? Start with the Free Application for Federal Student  Aid  (FAFSA), which you should complete after January 1st your senior year. Then check out the requirements for the schools where you're applying. They may have their own forms, or use the CSS/ Financial Aid  PROFILE Form for non-federal  aid . A - The three main forms of  financial aid  (outside of scholarships) are grants, work-study, and  loans . Only the portion of the  money  you get as a result of having filled out the  FAFSA  that is called  loans  will have to be paid back. ... Student  loans , however, have the most favorable terms.
